Civil Engineer

Position Description:

Civil Engineer with a minimum of eight years experience in the performance of site planning and design, specifying new construction, contract administration during construction, threshold inspections and related project work. Typical work assignments include:

• Developing and Reviewing Proposals for Multi-Disciplinary Projects
• Preparation and Review of Plans and Specifications for New Construction
• Reviewing Reports
• Oversight of Field Inspectors
• Contract Administration of large and complex construction projects
• Development of scoping documents to lead implementation of capital projects

Experience Required:

Graduation from an ABET accredited school of engineering. P. E. registration a plus, but not required. Graduate degree a plus.

Skill Requirements:

The ability to communicate with other professionals and non-technical personnel both verbally and in writing. The ability to lead group decision-making. Strong written communication skills and attention to detail.

Experience in the use of all MS Office software an imperative. Proven experience in delivering contract administration on multi-disciplinary projects to clients on-time and within budget.

Salary Range :

• $50,000-$70,000, annually, commensurate with experience and training, on salaried basis, with opportunity to advance to other positions upon satisfactory performance of job duties. Benefits, such as medical insurance commensurate with industry standards.
